THE FASCINATING COURTYARD
The entrance to the museum is from a beautiful medieval courtyard, which testifies the first purpose of the palace: the headquarter of the “Captain of the people”.

DONATELLO
You will see 3 different statues of David, included the most important bronze sculpture of the 1400s.

VERROCCHIO
In this museum you can see also some beautiful sculptures realized by the teacher of Leonardo: Andrea del Verrocchio.

MICHELANGELO AND GIAMBOLOGNA
The rich collection of sculptures includes also some artworks realized by the young Michelangelo, and masterpieces by Giambologna.
